The Aloe Vera plant has magical healing powers for skin ailments. A stem can be broken and a white transparent cream emerges. Women rub this on their face and hands with indeed magical results. The bloom of the Aloe Vera is rather rare and grows only in the right circumstances which seemed to be there in my balcony.

Following radiation treatment Aloe Vera from the plant was the only cream that helped prevent burning on my skin. The stuff in the tubes and bottles was useless.

Thats true, in India its used in making medicines for knee joint pain and its beneficial for skin too.
